I mention this not to be controversial, but to say I know Trump was trying to support the party's candidate, even if they had not always been in agreement. I see DeSantis doing the same here, trying to give a push to an R who could use it.
From what I have seen, this was a simple robocall endorsement or something. I don't think I have heard DeSantis doing rallies through Colorado or anything for O'Dea.
In the end, O'Dea must live or die by his actions on his own. Let's just not let stuff like this create rifts among the rest of us. I hope every R in a Senate race wins and we have a solid majority next session, both House and Senate.

Point taken. But I think there might be some minor differences.
Pres Trump was endorsing Republican incumbents, with no primary opposition, in races against Dems.
I don’t recall any of the ones you mentioned coming out publicly and running their mouths like O’Dea has. Privately, I’m sure they all hate the guy but in public they played the game.
O’Dea picked this fight. And I stopped buying into “Any Republican Senator is better than a Democrat any day of the week”.
One, actively campaigning in Alaska has said that she is planning on voting for the Democrat in the House race. And she’s the one getting help from McConnell.
DeSantis doesn’t have to be Trump Jr. His track record gives him clearance as well as Trump’s recent comments about him. Trump and DeSantis are on the same page when it comes to America.

Typically I decide who to blame for a rift only when I am 9th convinced there is one and that there is some warrant for me to seek the cause of it. Did I mention I was not biting? Thought I had.
