Agree. Save your fight for the primaries. Trump gave us Sessions, Barr and Wray among others.

They’ve played the system and took a seat a Republican should be holding

There's more to it than how they vote.

The number of "Rs" in the Senate (and House) determines who controls the agenda, and the partisan makeup of the committees.

It is insanity to keep performing that non-productive RINO installment and expect to get Republican legislation. Like a drug addict thinking it will be different this time, it’s always the same destruction. Break the cycle.

O’Dea is the Republican candidate on the ballot. Who else would DeSantis endorse??

I swear you are hopeless. He didn’t have to endorse anyone. There are many races in which he has said nothing as is his prerogative. I was questioning the strategy.

Why are you calling it a strategy...It’s the Republican candidate for cripes sakes. Endorse him...and by the way....no candidate is perfect.

I don't know how you come up with that one.

....it’s always the same destruction.

So you prefer the kind of destruction we've seen in the last few years with the RAT Overlords...Green agenda, queer/pedo agenda, climate hoax agenda, election fraud agenda, depopulation agenda, communist/globalist agenda etc etc etc.

Governor Ron DeSantis Endorses Senate Candidate Joe O’Dea, Who Vows to Campaign Against Donald Trump
Conservative Treehouse, Oct 24, 2022

A week ago, Colorado senate republican candidate Joe O’Dea said on CNN, “I don’t think Donald Trump should run again.” He quickly added, ” I’m going to actively campaign against Donald Trump and make sure that we have got four or five really great Republicans right now; Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley and Tim Scott.”

Today, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis picked Joe O’Dea as his only 2022 endorsed senate candidate {link}, recording a robocall for O’Dea that says, “Hello this is Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. America needs strong leadership and desperately. That’s why I’m endorsing Joe O’Dea for U.S. Senate. Colorado, please vote for Joe O’Dea.”

Keep in mind, Ron DeSantis is a governor who campaigns on his success as a governor and has been rallying exclusively for governor candidates. However, despite not endorsing the republican candidate in the Colorado state race (Heidi Ganahl), Governor DeSantis went out of his way to support the only explicitly anti-Trump Senate candidate in 2022, Joe O’Dea.

When Paul Ryan endorsed Ron DeSantis, you could argue that DeSantis never asked for it. When Jeb Bush endorsed DeSantis, again you could argue that DeSantis never asked for it. However, the transparency of DeSantis endorsing O’Dea who has stated his intent to actively campaign against any MAGA candidate… well, you can’t say that had nothing to do with DeSantis.

The DeSantis 2024 organizers are a mixture of allied republican establishment figures, corporate party donors and former Ted Cruz base supporters (Never Trumpers) who have united in common cause to stop the MAGA working-class coalition from taking full control of the republican party. An endorsement for DeSantis from Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger is increasingly likely as soon as the midterm election is over.

I don't see a problem with that. Should he have supported the democrat runner?.......

What part of this sentence don’t you understand, hmmmm?

“ Trump in 2024, DeSantis in 2028.”

That would be truly MAGA.”

Yes, this is exactly as it should be.

“There is something disingenuous about DeSantis. He’s a Harvard educated Lawyer with a phony sounding blue-collar accent. He seems to go out of his way to sound and act like he is not from the Ivy Leagues. He’s also got this tough guy thing that’s not very convincing as well.”

You are wrong. Read his bio before you pontificate; I have. DeSantis is a self made man. Raised in small town in FL; very middle class. Joined the Navy; Worked hard and achieved much. And is quite brilliant intellectually, so he has gone far. He is very quick on the uptake.

No one did him any favors in his life; he earned his opportunities. And he IS a tough guy, thank goodness. He will go far; President in 2028, after Prez Trump who set the standard for us all and exposed the dark underbelly of the MSM/Commies who now run our country by stealing the 2020 election.

His one potential Achilles heel will be if he throws too far in and/or listens to the swan song of the RINO’s. He must not succumb to the Establishment by siding with them on anything; it will be the end of him if he does. We the MAGA people have had our fill of RINO’s. Be careful where you tread, Gov. DeSantis; you have greatness in you; don’t blow it.

What part of possibly not supporting a candidate in a PRIMARY ELECTION does NOT EQUATE to not supporting that same candidate in the GENERAL ELECTION.

DemocRATS love low-IQer Republican voters who don’t support their general election candidates. Just sayin’.

Trump has tons of room to talk, Bruce. It’s one thing to back a RINO like, say, a John Cornyn, because he’s the best option available. It’s quite another to support a Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, or a Jeff Flake (i.e. someone who actively opposes you and the MAGA agenda and works to undermines it). When you’re dealing with that level of RINO, there is literally no difference between the Republican and his Dem opponent. In that scenario, the best thing to do is to defeat the RINO.

Sorry Erik. Trump may have had some bad endorsements and bad hires in the past. But has he ever endorsed a candidate who was actively campaigning on being anti-Trump and pledging to challenge his nomination for President? No. And why would he? Even Romney was playing nice with Trump when Trump endorsed him. Now if DeSantis wanted to support some other RINO candidate who may or may not end up being a disappointment in the future, that’s one thing. But to know before-hand that the candidate you’re endorsing is anti-Trump and to endorse him anyway, then you’re making a statement. DeSantis is more than free to be anti-Trump and he’s more than free to be anti-MAGA. But if so, he needs to deal with the consequences. He can’t have it both ways.

DeSantis did not endorse someone who was anti-DeSantis, so your comparison does not work.
