“universal connection fee” on the cable bills.
Probably hugely responsible for cord cutting..
But it is a TX not a fee..
It would be REALLY helpful, Hotels and airlines gave the rate AND the broken out taxes up front.
Some places like boston have an enormous state tax for hotels. A 15-25% on top of the room rate is a HUGE issue. Especially for Europeans used to the price on the tag is the price you pay with ALL fees included.

If it’s on a land line...we don’t pay it because we don’t have a landline.
