Tens of millions of US citizens were given a “COVID-19 decree violation” score as a result of a data harvesting program conducted during the first lockdown by voter analytics firm PredictWise.
“These Covid-19 decree violation scores were calculated by analyzing nearly two billion global positioning system (GPS) pings to get “real-time, ultra-granular locations patterns.” People who were “on the go more often than their neighbors” were given a high Covid-19 decree violation score while those who mostly or always stayed at home were given a low Covid-19 decree violation score,” writes Reclaim the Net’s Tom Parker.
The data collected was then used by PredictWise to help Democrats target over 350,000 “COVID concerned” Republicans with campaign ads relating to virus prevention measures.
“PredictWise understood that there were potential pockets of voters to target with Covid-19 messaging and turned high-dimensional data covering over 100 million Americans into measures of adherence to Covid-19 restrictions during deep lockdown,” the company states in its white paper.
This information was used to help identify 40,000 “persuasion targets” for Senate candidate Mark Kelly, who was subsequently elected.
As we highlighted throughout the COVID lockdowns, chilling components of the surveillance grid were weaponized against ordinary people.
At one point, a senior government minister in Australia refused to rule out citizens being forced to wear electronic ankle bracelets, even if they were fully vaccinated, to make sure they were complying with home quarantine orders.
Conservative MP Jeremy Hunt, who was recently promoted to become Chancellor of the Exchequer, called for the government to use GPS tracking technology to ensure Brits were complying with COVID quarantine measures.
“Daily contact with those asked to self-isolate – using GPS tracking to monitor compliance if necessary as happens in Taiwan and Poland,” said Hunt.
Police in the UK also used surveillance drones to monitor and threaten people who dared to go out into remote countryside to walk their dogs.
In Australia, tracking drones were deployed to catch people who didn’t wear masks outside and to keep track of cars that traveled further than 5km from home.

They went right down the list of counties by population, targeting the larger counties in each state.
I am a violator!
So they used the exact same analytical methods used in “2000 mules”? The same methods they discredited in the movie?
Never let a crisis go to waste.
Your phone can track you. Leave it at home.
Just confirmation that the “Smart-phone” owns you, you do not own it.
Go back to wall phones.
Steve Bannon:
“This election is going to be about the three I’s, inflation, immigration, injections”
Why do you think that the Government was so gung ho for everyone to have cell phones?
NAH... Google wouldn’t do that. Like when I had my phone just sitting on the counter and it starter replying to radio and conversations. And Nah. Nothing funny when I would get random pings saying “You were near someone who may have been exposed to kung flu.” Or when I drove to California and a California Health Department kung flu tracking app mysterious installed itself on my phone. Same thing driving in to Washington from Idaho. Google would never run interference to help the democrats....
Yes. I do not use google based phones anymore.
Rate me at A+, 100%.
Sure. I also remember seeing this data very early in the covid nightmare, probably about the time of the “X days to stop the spread”, and resolved then and there I’d screw them to the maximum I could. I spend a lot of time in parks and on trails but made no change to my habits, just made sure big brother wasn’t tracking me. Never had covid either.
This article says they were able to identify 350,000 Republicans who were worried about COVID in the Arizona senate race in 2020, allowing Mark Kelly to be elected. Then they sent advertisements to these individuals. Can this work again in 2022? I doubt it. This time the President is Joe Biden. Did Joe Biden do a good job on the Monkey Pox? At least 6 Americans have died of Monkey Pox so far and the number will rise. News are reporting that a trifecta of Covid, flu, and the rsv virus are causing a surge of children in hospitals. This is bad news for Biden and the Democrats in 2022.
I. Don’t. Care.
I’m a MAJOR violator and damn proud of it!

‘Looking back and our reality, how could we avoided this.’
My wife and I use Android Phones via TracPhone which uses different services. Our basic provider is Comcast, and that changes depending where we are in N. California. In our home if we are in our family room and most rooms, we are on Comcast wireless wifi unless we go into the master bedroom and then our phones go to a more powerful outside wireless provider.
A constant are/is , the apps from Google regardless of the carrier.
Early on into the Covid B$, we got the Covid tracker mainly on my wife’s phone. We got rid of it several times and the trackers which supposedly helped us avoid wrecks or other problems.
Our health provider is the big west coast PPO, and they use your cell phone # for appts, and other messaging. We get reminders on our phones and Chromebooks several times a day.
Our family electronic genius/Grandkid would remove all of these Covid trackers when he visited or we visited him.
He said that he could get Covid trackers on his cell phone just by walking outside his E Bay home or riding BART to work. When he went back to his college, he joked about getting a shield for his private parts due to all the trackers. Apparently, he and his roommates would and still carry each other’s phones to $ screw up the monitoring.
RE: This election is going to be about the three I’s, inflation, immigration, injections”
In many states, CRIME is a major issue. What’s a synonym for Crime that starts with the letter “I”?
“Decree”
Problem right there.
This kind of story reinforces the need for a good Faraday bag or that one should leave the tracking device at home.
You could go with infraction just to keep the alliteration going, but that’s a mild term for murders and other assaults.
