Is it illegal to stab people to death in Los Angeles? Is this something they actually prosecute, or is it considered kind of a misdemeanor?

Probably depends on the race and/or sexual preference (not "orientation") of the perp and the victim(s).

Well, this wasn’t in L.A. It was in Palmdale, which is in the desert, north of L.A. It is in Los Angeles County, which is pretty big.

It has changed significantly since the 1970s, and is now overwhelmingly latino.
