While discussing issues surrounding the upcoming midterm elections, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said she believes the United States is 'facing an environment of fascism.'
The New York representative was joined by Rep. Jamie Raskin in a discussion with MSNBC political commentator Chris Hayes to talk about the nearing elections, recent economic turmoil and infrastructure.
Ocasio-Cortez likened alleged voter suppression in Arizona, a state in which a federal judge refused to bar an activist group from monitoring outdoor ballot boxes, to historical instances of racism.

She’s pointing a finger at us and calling us fascist. But she has three fingers pointing back at herself. When I was a kid in the 1950’s, we learned that there was very little difference between fascism and communism/socialism in the result. Both result in the enslavement of the many by the few.
There's a great Boston talk show host named Howie Carr who often speaks of the connections to Massachusetts that so many of this country's most despicable creatures have. For example: Sniveling Little Schitt grew up in suburban Boston. ILLary went to school in suburban Boston.And Occasional Cortex went to school in Boston.
