🫡 Yep, the team is gone. The team that was researching and pushing for algorithmic transparency and algorithmic choice. The team that was studying algorithmic amplification. The team that was inventing and building ethical AI tooling and methodologies. All that is gone.

What does this even mean? Did the woman even write code there? All I know is that their algorithms worked for the woke and liberals. And my guess is it was usually humans who were zapping conservatives at twitter. Or booting them off twitter.

Having worked several large companies, it’s probably the people who ALWAYS seem to be in some meeting or conference room, and really DOING anything.
I think they mean “Al Gore rhythm.”
AI learns according to its own rules. The intention of the programmers have no effect. The whole concept of this team is anathema to ethics.
