As war rages in Ukraine and China continues to develop its nuclear capabilities, some military officials are warning the United States is unprepared to be dragged into warfare.
The warnings come after it was reported in October that America's military had become weaker over the last several years and is at risk of not being able to respond to outside threats.
The Heritage Foundation, in its 2023 Index of U.S. Military Strength, noted that the military is “weak” and that it was “at growing risk of not being able to meet the demands of defending America’s vital national interests” — marking the first time in the index’s nine-year history that the country has been rated so low.

“This Ukraine crisis that we’re in right now, this is just the warm-up,” said Navy Adm. Charles Richard, the commander of U.S. Strategic Command, according to the Wall Street Journal. “The big one is coming. And it isn’t going to be very long before we’re going to get tested in ways that we haven’t been tested [in] a long time.”

Just as important will be the lack of support from the people who normally support America’s wars. They have basically been ostracized from their own country. I doubt they will support this illegitimate “President” and his anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-decency, hijacked government.

As part of the rebuilding of the military, each and ever bottom-dwelling slimeball that participated in ANY woke crap should be kicked out so hard that their first bounce is either in the Pacific or Atlantic ocean. Eff them and the rap they hurled at real people. Go directly to hell. Do not pass Facebook. Eat **** and die.

If we lose, God forbid, Dems can always say “but even so we never once gave up our support for LGBTQ or racial and gender quotas.”
Like released serial killers who always had their full rights guaranteed as they went out and killed again. Symbolic gestures are worth more than real life victory over evil.

There is a general lack of patriotism in this country. Conservatives are disgusted by the bad behavior of our leaders (as you noted). And liberals have been told for generations that America is an awful place.
So who will rally ‘round the flag if and when the time comes?
Perhaps recruiting MORE transgenders, homosexuals, and lesbians will increase combat readiness? More forced experimental vaccines too! Certainly troop readiness will improve!

The rats have controlled the military 10 of the last 14 years. The decimation of the military is the result.
I remember after ‘41 how unprepared we were. Didn’t take long to get up to speed. I ain’t sweating it.
Burn up, and test our new stuff in Ukraine I say. Build more.
We’ll get someone like Trump who has half a brain back into the WH in two years, and things should fairly quickly return to at least a modicum of sensibility.
“The Big One” is coming soon in various forms, but not yet. Give it a few decades.
