A female protester at a Gov. Kathy Hochul rally in Manhattan was choked by a man during a skirmish Saturday evening that also involved a New York City lawmaker, footage shows.
The melee occurred near the landmark Stonewall Inn, where the Democratic candidate Hochul was appearing with Bravo host Andy Cohen to shore up LGBTQ support in the days before the gubernatorial election.
Footage captured by the independent Viral News NY showed the middle of the altercation, in which a man in shorts and a plaid short-sleeve shirt choked a woman wearing a black sweatshirt.

Why would Hockel need to shore up support among this group?
Fear in the city among Dems is apathy in NYC combined with suburbs swinging GOP will bring a Zeldin victory. It’s not like she is losing LGBTQWERTY support in the city (and they are a large voting block in Manhattan specifically), it’s just there was until recently little enthusiasm to actually come out and vote.
A genuine fear of rising crime rates creates strange bedfellows.

If she loses this election, she has really accomplished something amazing. But the best part with be thinking of Cuomo sitting there watching her lose, thinking, “I would have won this election! She ruined it! I set this up for her. They made a mistake when they got rid of me.” LOL It would be an entertaining pay per view. I don’t know if he would have done as badly as her, or worse, but it would be nice to think of them as both retired.

Just got an email from the NY GOP asking people to protest Biden who will be in Yonkers, NY with Hochul this afternoon.
The internals must be awful if they are going to these lengths though I don’t know how biden helps
