Trump lost Congress in 2018 because states like CA allowed Dems to count until they won. Recall that the Pubbies were way ahead in many districts — until counting was allowed to continue — for days.
I saw a thread here a few days ago touting Jim Jordan as possible speaker. That would make my decade. Remember the BS Newt had to deal with from the dems and media? A walk in the park compared to the crap storm that would befall Jordan.
Bill knows the fix is in. Of course the polls have to be ignored because fraud can’t be polled.
One was the so-called "Contract for America" in 1994 led by Newt Gingrich.
The other was the "Tea Party" movement countering Barack Obama in 2010.
Neither of these movements had much staying power in Washington, DC.
The Leftists eventually regained control (by "hook and crook") and with the help of RINOs. And they became more powerful than ever.
I fully expect there to be a "red wave" this Tuesday.
What will become of it in the long run?
The difference was that in 1994 and 2010, the Presidents were intellectually capable of retooling and regrouping to fight the Republicans. Today, we have an IQ-deficient President in Biden who won’t know what to do. The Dems will have to confront the issue of not only deciding what to do against the Republicans, but also what to do about their own guy, something they did not have to worry in 1994 and 2010.
He might be surprised to find Gingrich in charge though.
