OK, let’s see what we have here. As Twitchy reported earlier, Politico Playbook has set the bar pretty high for calling the results of the midterm elections a “red wave.” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre assures us that not knowing the winners of elections for a few days is “how this is supposed to work.” We’ve been set up over the past few days not to expect any election results on election night and warned that social media will likely be rife with election misinformation. So, when do we actually call time and demand the results?
You might have heard that even the moon will be red on election night, but have you heard about the “red mirage”? ABC News says it’s very likely that Republicans will seem to have the advantage in early vote counts … just wait until John Fetterman’s campaign counts all of the mail-in votes that were thrown out for not being dated or being improperly dated. That sort of fraud takes time.
A "red mirage," or an artificial GOP vote lead, will likely reoccur Tuesday. https://t.co/tagIbNJscC

Isabella Murray reports:
As early Election Day results come in on Tuesday, it will likely appear that a Republican candidates vying for any number of the federal or statewide races appear to be leading their Democratic opponents, even by large margins.
Their leads will dwindle, or crumble completely, after perceived “dumps” of votes are recorded by state election officials who count mail-in and absentee ballots in the days — or even weeks — following Election Day.
This phenomenon was popularized as the “red mirage” or the “blue shift” after the 2020 presidential election, when former President Donald Trump took a deceptive lead in several competitive states on Election Day due to delays in counting of Democrats’ mail-in ballots — their preferred method of voting due to the COVID-19 pandemic — only to eventually dissipate when the entire reserve of votes was totaled.
The illusion was a principal component of Trump and his allies’ false claims that the contest was fraudulent upon his ultimate loss to Joe Biden.
What possible correlation could there be between claims that the election was fraudulent and the fact that it will take “even weeks” to count all of the mail-in and absentee ballots?
This is the best one yet 😆

It takes time to find the fraudulent ballots needed to “win”.

We have to wait to see how many ballots we need…

They ran these same f'n stories before 2020 election.

That’s not a mirage, you filthy hacks. That’s the real Election Day vote that happens, and then you add more fake votes in the following days. We see you.

Set that steal up. Same thing that happened in 2020. Big leads just went away, all at the same time.

Huh? Setting the table @ABC ?

An amazing article. It could have been written by the DNC. Which, in a way, it was.

You’re so bad at this

What’s the over under on how many days it will take to erase the leads? 7? 14? 30? This is why people don’t trust the system

Gonna need time to fake more unstamped, undated vote by mail ballots.

Preparing us for the boxes of “missing” votes that show up at 4:00am? 😂😂

Only developed country in the world that can't count all of the votes in one night.
— Arthur Blore (@InternetPoaster) November 8, 2022
The best way to solve this is to stop mail in voting. We should have a 48 hour in-person voting period starting on Sunday, with simultaneous opening & closing of polls. Quickly tabulate the results & be done by midnight.

Enemy of the people.
— Scott Stephenson (@Scott4WA8) November 7, 2022
There sure has been a lot of managing expectations. Don’t put too much faith into the results you see on election night … it could be weeks before the Democratic candidate catches up. Gotta “heal” those ballots without a signature or date.

Sounds like the Rats will be cheating again just like they did in 2020.
About as much of a mirage as the iceberg the titanic hit.
They would do well to remember the Battle Of Athens before they try their midnight shenanigans again.
They’re so dumb they can’t even keep quiet about it.
This mail-in voting is a big scam that allows for massive cheating. For those Republicans who voted by mail, nobody will ever know if an unsrupulous poll worker threw your actual ballot in the trash and substituted it with a ballot filled out for the Democrats.
Sure, they will acknowledge receiving your ballot by mail and you might feel good about that. But you just might have voted a straight Democratic ticket. How would you know? Who is watching? Remember in 2020 how they covered the windows with butcher paper so we couldn't see in?
Show up in person where at least we have poll watchers on the day.
I’m not even sure we can call it cheating now. It’s the current form of American Democracy, and I’m glad it feels threatened. This system has to be destroyed. No machines, no mail vote, no drop boxes, maybe give 1 week to cast vote.
If your state has “Motor Voter” laws on its books, as does Florida, that’s how the real fraud will take place, because there’s no other documentation required to vote other than the poll worker scanning your drivers license to give you a ballot. And guess who can get drivers licenses. It’s easier to guess who cannot. Like children, and the blind, maybe.
My county website shows that our votes have been counted
Follow up with your elections people and see if you can confirm your vote counted
Floyd county, Indiana polling machines are down across the county. This is a reliably red stronghold. Voters are being told to drop their ballots in a box to be counted later
Tell me the fix is not in.
I think now it is pretty much assured that the rats will subvert the elections in Governor and Senate races. The House maybe not, but it will be a modest do nothing majority.
Meanwhile republican leaders appear to be sleepwalking toward the wall. Not a peep out of them protesting the despicable meme that delay is “the way it’s supposed to work.” And the would-be pundits are all in for the red tsunami. Listening to Hewitt this am, he’s gloating about the democrats “dropping their swords and shields and running,” and expecting a 30 seat majority in the House.
I can’t wait till next week to hear how he rationalizes being so wrong, while at the same time totally denying that anything irregular has occurred.
Fetterman concession speech. “Goodnight, everyone. My doctors say basement not good for my condition. Have to be in warm dry place. Mama building me a sauna in the attic. Gisele leaving me to live with Oz. I support fracking on Wednesdays. Mongo like candy. Hello, everyone”
Yes, counted. But you do you know it was counted the way you voted?
When will enough be enough?
It’s not dumb. It’s flaunting power. They think no one will stop them and so far they’ve been right.
Same old story. GOP leads always evaporate when the democrap donkeys show up with their car trunks full of bogus ballots.
I hope Oz has some good lawyers on retainer.
I am really wondering what to expect today. I’m almost 63 and have never heard so much warning to not believe the early results. Are they really planning such systemic cheating that the results will be altered overnight or over the coming several days? Do they think people will accept such blatant cheating?
Ever notice how each and every logical suggestion to fix the election systems throughout the country is shot down by the Democrats?
You know, the same people that claim the people with the logical ideas are a threat to democracy . . .
Democrats changed things after 2004. As FReepers may recall, Kerry was leading all afternoon in exit polls and early voting, and then a Bush wave washed him away. Later Democrat Rps said it was stolen, especially in Ohio. Ever since that election, there has been unprecedented shenanigans.
