Just got back from voting at 10:30 am in SE Illinois. Polling place was the busiest I have EVER seen in the 20 years I’ve lived here.
Rural farm community of ~6500 people that generally vote Republican 65%-35%. Was 2/3rds geezers like myself.
Could make the Pissger-Bailey race interesting.
That’s encouraging. We’re at the top of the state, a Democrat held county. Our polling place was the busiest I’ve seen it in years.
