U.N. Tells Rich Countries to Pay $2 Trillion a Year for Climate ‘Justice’

An annual transfer of funds from rich to poor countries, starting at around $2 trillion by 2030 and rising thereafter, is needed for climate “justice” according to a U.N.-backed report released Tuesday.

China has been specifically excluded from the demand for reparations, which includes taxes for fossil fuel companies on their global “carbon profits,” even as the Communist state’s greenhouse gas emissions now exceed the entire rest of the developed world combined.

The first one trillion dollars alone should come from rich countries, investors and multilateral development banks, declared the analysis commissioned by Britain and Egypt, hosts respectively of the 2021 U.N. climate summit in Glasgow and this week’s COP27 event in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.

A further $1.4 trillion must then originate domestically from private and public sources, said the report seen by AFP.

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s government has already signalled it is open to discussing climate “reparations” as he prepares tax hikes and public service cuts at home in the name of fiscal responsibility, as Breitbart News reports.

Oh, otay. But wait, just like I didn't see "democracy" on the ballot, neither was there a ballot initiative asking us to pony up money for the useless pieces of crap on the Hudson River. So, short answer...NO! Can we please elect someone that will cancel the charter and boot these elite MOFOs out of the U.S.? Please?

That is no surprise at all, and proves the whole “climate” thing is one big excuse to drain all the money from the USA and give it to the corrupt leaders of countries that prefer to complain rather than work hard.

This has always been about extorting money from certain countries, with the elites of those countries getting a kick back for helping other countries to steal from their people.

So do we send it directly to the little dictators’ Swiss Bank accounts or do we have to pretend some development is going on in those countries to allow the Biden’s and Clinton’s their fair share of the skim? In either case the answer should be NO!

But if there is a climate emergency, and if they really can control the weather, wouldn’t the money be much better spent on “climate control”? I mean, if we don’t control the climate in this situation, the money proposed can be spent later, when there are actual, indisputable damages, like seas being 4 feet deeper.

Translation, U.S. and EU must pay. They’ll give China, biggest polluter in the world, a pass. India will get a pass even though their greenhouse gas emissions are skyrocketing. Basically only melanin-challenged folks will be on the hook for climate reparations.

Laughable that a nation with 32 trillion in debt is considered a rich country.

only if they pay us 12 trillion for the protection we provide them!

I’ll even deduct the 2 trillion from the 12, so they only owe us 10 trillion!

I like Dennis Prager’s line, [paraphrasing] “any time a modifier word is placed in front of “justice”, it’s not justice”.
