PA could go a couple of ways. If the Democrats overreach, sure. If the Democrats instead clean up festering messes that have festered, raising Shapiros profile for a national role, then probably not. There are indications of both of these scenarios, so time will tell, it’s pretty much what Shapiro wants to make it. True too, we still don’t know who will control the general assembly house yet.

Pennsylvanians are annoyed, and I think it will take effort to clean up what happened here, due to zero steady hand anywhere near the helm.

That’s the real problem. He’s not gaining new voters. Even worse, it’s attrition at this point.

You sound concerned?

BTW, how many votes did Trump gain in 2020?

Why don’t you vote for a Democrat? They probably have a good chance of winning.

It’s simple...Either support the candidate who is going to actually fight against the things that are killing this country or vote for the guy who has a better chance of winning.

I don’t care which team wins if neither one is going stop the destruction of our country.

“You sound concerned?”

If you’re not concerned by the attrition, maybe you should look up what the word means.

“BTW, how many votes did Trump gain in 2020?”

Don’t know, don’t care because I’m living in the results of the 2022 elections. “Remember when” ain’t good enough.

Democrats spend millions on Republican primaries

In Illinois, Democratic incumbent Gov. J.B. Pritzker and the Democratic Governors Association dropped $35 million on ads attempting to influence Illinois’ Republican gubernatorial primary – more than any office is believed to have ever spent to meddle in another party’s primary – putting Illinois’ gubernatorial race on track to be the most expensive non-presidential election in United States history.

Ads purchased by Pritzker allies attacked the more moderate Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin in the Republican primary and drew attention to the more far-right candidate, state Sen. Darren Bailey. Pritzker’s ad buy for the primaries was more than triple what Bailey had raised for his own campaign.

Bailey, who was endorsed by Trump, rose to prominence in Illinois politics when he co-sponsored a bill that proposed allowing rural Illinois to separate from Chicago and form a “New Illinois” state. After a 2019 state legislative session over a bill guaranteeing Illinois residents abortion rights – which Bailey vehemently opposed – he criticized a fellow lawmaker for having “the gall to bring up the separation of church and state.” Painted on the door of his campaign bus is the Bible verse Ephesians 6:10-19, which calls for followers to wear God’s armor in a battle against “evil rulers.”

I volunteered for the Trump 2016 Campaign - paid my own way to rallies all over the midwest - took time off from work to work on the campaign.

Same with whatever events we were able to do in 2020. Traveled to Ohio - Wisconsin, Michigan many times on my own dime.

Not no more - have had enough of 45 - I’m out

Why don't you vote for a Democrat

Thanks for raising the level of discourse. Trump unfortunately has massive negatives among voters(women), which he cannot overcome. Run Trump and it's guaranteed another Democrat in the WH for four more years that the country cannot afford.

I know what attrition means. My point is that in this case, such concern becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

“BTW, how many votes did Trump gain in 2020?” Don’t know, don’t care because I’m living in the results of the 2022 elections. “Remember when” ain’t good enough.

So you're going to ignore the last real numbers that measure Trump's popularity and use exactly what specific numbers?

... as the party ended the night with a clean sweep of the races in which it chose to meddle.

We don't know the extent of D meddling either. I think the D's have a winning formula where they can insert Trump as the issue. The meddling is basically opposition party sabotage along the lines of people even here on FR with a seemingly binary attitude regarding Trump against what has to be common sense at this point. When common sense can no longer be articulated and discussed then we are stuck with the elephant in the room. To me, I choose to think most conservatives are not so binary, that is more a D trait and now we see it on every issue on our side of the spectrum. It is "this way or the highway".

Maybe we should start shouting "Fed, Fed, Fed" against those who try to shut down common sense discussions of these issues. We might be more right than not.

The point of saying that is...The platform of the nominee matters. I’m not going to vote for Graham. I’m not going to vote for Crenshaw. I’m not going to vote for a Democrat.

I’m not going to vote for ANYONE that is not going to fight against globalism and claw back our American inheritance. DeSantis has not proved that he will do that. Trump has.

I don’t care who gets elected if the only disagreement in the prospective candidates is the rate at which our country is eviscerated.

I would much rather nominate Trump and force them to steal the election again, only making it more obvious to everyone that our elections are fraudulent.

Here in Arizona we had primary candidates who ran as Republicans but then lost and followed two paths. Either they disappeared from sight and sound or they sniped at the Party nominees.

Conservatives have been lectured thoughout my lifetime- that we must hold our noses if need be and support the liberals when they are the nominees. But when a conservative wins? The rules change. Oddly these people claimed to be conservatives.

“My point is that in this case, such concern becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.”

If we hope hard enough, he hasn’t lost voters in 2022. Just ignore the actual results.

“So you’re going to ignore the last real numbers that measure Trump’s popularity and use exactly what specific numbers?”

Current numbers. Even the argument that he pulls yuge crowds doesn’t work in 2022 if it doesn’t translate into actual votes anymore.

I’ll support DJT for POTUS in 2024, with Ron DeSantis as his VPOTUS for four years so he can “learn the WDC ropes” and help DJT drain the swamp.

This will never ever happen. There is no way Ron DeSantis is going to run as VP on a ticket with Trump at the top. About the only kind of person you are going to get as a VP on Trump's ticket is someone like Marjorie Taylor Greene. Maybe Kari Lake (I hope not as I think she has her own brand and I don't think she would if she actually wins her election), or maybe even Tulsi Gabbard. Something like that, but NEVER would anyone with a clear future agree to be branded with Trump at this point.

Guess what...?

They are stealing the elections. The only reason they wouldn’t steal it from the next Republican candidate is if the next candidate is a globalist who will submit the future of the U.S. to the will of the WEF, UN, NATO, the Davos set, the Central Banks, the multinational corporations, defense industry, big Pharma, etc...

We know that is why they stole it from Trump. I would rather force them to steal it again than support a globalist who puts an “R” after their name.

Current numbers.

Current numbers show an increase in House seats. Those current numbers?

Yes, and the current numbers in PA, GA, and AZ. And, most importantly, the growing Republican numbers in FL.

If you’re not going to vote then those who are running for office aren’t going to care about you and your issues, either.

It’s a well-known tactic here in New Hampshire that the Republican party colludes with the Democrat Party to ensure the far right conservative candidate that will never win in NH against the likes of Hassan is the Republican Party nominee. It’s because we have open primaries and they ensure that the center uni party hack always wins and there is never a majority in the Senate so it’s easy to not have to legislate, just make deals and the center minority has the power, aka gang of 8 crap.
