Giving weapons to his foes—Bad move. Trump must cool it with DeSantis (the hero of the moment).
“DeSantis is the hero of the moment” Ah and therein lies the issue. DeSantis is the hero of the moment and Trump can’t stand that. He expected that his candidate would be a major component of the Red Wave and he’d be hailed as genius. The wave didn’t come, and his candidates didn’t do well. He’s getting the blame, maybe undeserved, and he can’t deal with that. So, he does what he does best, he lashes out at people. It was funny when he was doing it to Nancy and Chuck. But when you’re doing it to a strong, successful GOP governor who may be our best shot in 2024, it’s stupid and childish.
President Trump needs to control his temper. This is a bad look.
