My gut level hunch earlier today was that Lombardo had this locked up more than 20,000 votes ahead tonight while Laxalt’s margin would narrow and it is only 2,000 right now.

Well, fingers crossed for Laxalt. Just checked and he is still ahead by 2,000 votes. Lombardo is ahead by about 22,000.
Washoe County still has votes to count, it’s about 50% Cortez-Masto & 47% Laxalt, but only 83% of the votes are in and there could be a big chunk of votes coming. Laxalt could get a few hundred from Lincoln Co, which is pretty small. Otherwise most of the votes look to be counted according to the NY Times site.

“Down to about 800 now.”
They have to make Laxalt lose and they will. On Fox they were saying that the cameras in the ballot counting room were down all night long, although the hall and other room cameras as well as of the front door were working. Only the actual ballot room cameras didn’t work. Funny that.

Dunno. Politics is dirty, nothing would surprise me. But yeah, he’s an improvement.
