BY the way, when I was in college, we laughed at the English and Psych majors, with Drama majors a close third.

An accounting major graduates, gets the first job and says how do we cut costs and make it cheaper.

An engineering major graduates, gets the first job and says how can we design this better.

A liberal arts major graduates, gets the first job and says do you want fries with that.

I've never met an Econ major who regretted a moment of it, especially the actuaries, who make crazy money for what they do.

You probably have met people who started off as Econ and then dropped because they found the math too difficult. I can’t say that I can recall meeting anyone who finished the degree who regretted it.
