Since journalism was neither an art or a science, we had our own degree. The rest of the campus was working towards a BA or a BS degree. We journalism majors were working towards a BJ degree.

African studies. ROTFL! Not everybody in Africa was really a King or Queen. That’s only in those wacky Disney Movies for Dummies. To qualify as a "king" you need subjects. At least 10,000. Less than that, you are just a village chief.
The kings were the ones selling their more useless subjects to the slavers.
It makes more sense to sell your shiftless and criminals to slavers. At least then you get some revenue.
