The founder and former CEO of collapsing crypto trader Sam Bankman-Fried is said to be holed up with members of his inner circle in the Bahamas while his empire collapses around him.
Bankman-Fried, 30, resigned from FTX on Friday, as the crypto exchange filed for bankruptcy and reports emerged that up to $2 billion in client funds had vanished from the company's books in recent weeks.
According to Coin Telegraph, the disgraced former CEO is holed up at the Albany Tower alongside FTX co-founder Gary Wang and the company's director of engineering Nishad Singh.

Take the money and run...
Most of the smaller private jets won’t have the legs to get from the Bahamas to Dubai....without stopping. Would have to be a Bahamas to Tunisia or Libya, refuel, and fly on from there. But these private jet owners are going to quote a crazy price....to haul them there.
But after you arrive there....with so many upset people who’ve lost their fortune, I don’t see how you can ensure your safety.
Saw a story that FTX Crypto was in a front company to money launder billions of tax money sent to the Ukraine and funneled back to Democrat political campaigns..Sam Bankman-Fried has pledged up to 1/2 billion to defeat Trump in 2024 and the GOP....Much of “legit” money that FTX handled was from legalized Pot sellers.

Having said that, I view him as a disposable easy mark for somebody promising him great wealth if he just does stuff.

Because of US preeminence in all things economic, the absence of an extradition treaty does not mean automatic protection from non-extradition countries, nor does it mean countries with an extradition treaty with the US will honor it.
Anyone relying on treaties exclusively is a fool.
