Cotton on Trump: Republicans ‘Don’t Have a Single Leader’
Breitbart ^ | 13 Nov 2022 | PAM KEY

Posted on 11/13/2022 11:02:31 AM PST by conservative98

Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that the Republican Party does not have a single leader when asked if former President Donald Trump should remain as the head of the GOP.

Partial transcript as follows:

[cut]

BRENNAN: Sure, but you lost the ballgame in the Senate. Karl Rove blamed...Should Mr. Trump remain the leader of the Republican Party?

COTTON: Well, Margaret, when the party- when any party is out of power, as Republicans are now, we don’t have a single leader. The former president is obviously very popular with many of our voters–

BRENNAN: He’s the center of gravity.

COTTON: But we also have important other leaders as well, like some of those victors I just mentioned earlier, like Brian Kemp in Georgia, Ron DeSantis in Florida. Last year, you had Glen Younkin have a great victory in a bluish democratic state like Virginia. I hope to remain a leader in the United States Senate as well, in addition to people like some of those I just mentioned who were reelected, like Tim Scott. So, when you’re in opposition, you don’t have a single leader.

BRENNAN: Should leadership elections in the Senate be delayed until December, and should Mitch McConnell remain as Republican leader in the Senate?

COTTON: Well, I don’t see why we would delay the election, since all five or six of our leadership elections are uncontested. You know, the great wrestling champion Ric Flair used to say, to be the man, you got to beat the man. And so far, no one’s had the nerve to step forward and challenge Senator McConnell. So, I support Senator McConnell.

1. McConnell lapdog RINO Barrasso refuses to delay leadership vote, pushing ahead for vote this week before GA election is over. This is how McConnell and his Senate hatchet men continue to hold power over the GOP.— Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) November 13, 2022

2. And, of course, they continue to get support from their DC media chorus, as demonstrated here earlier.https://t.co/d22zxdMHbM— Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) November 13, 2022

DC Media Chorus = Brit Hume and Marc Thiessen, Fox News contributors.

How about a joint cooperative fight to deliver us from the DC Junta? I don’t care which is president. There’s more than enough battles to be fought with DC fascist usurpers to keep everyone busy enough.

Head’s up, Senator Cotton. It is supposed to be WE THE PEOPLE who choose who WE want to lead us. That’s not in your job description and you had best learn that you serve at our will and that WE don’t answer to you. This applies to all of you career parasites.

Tom Cotton...just another gutless Republican wonder who voted to accept Biden’s fraudulent electors, and voted to accept unlimited voter fraud on January 6th. Never forgive...never forget.

McConnell being re-elected as the majority leader is the biggest loss from last week. The leader of our party in the Senate refused to help get senators elected and contributed to a candidate running against the Republican candidate in Alsaska, who would have won, easily. And McConnell’s candidate was endorsing Democrats. This battle isn’t going to be quick, but we first have to get rid of ours that are fighting against us.

We knew a civil war was coming. We did not realize, though, that it would be largely confined to the Republican party.

I was rather hoping that the Democrat Socialists would have a little skin in this game. But no, it has just been, “Let’s you and him fight.”

Indirection is a game of skill.

It takes a leader to win the battle.

George S. Patton said “lead, follow or get out of the way” so are you listening Mitch?

.
The problem has been clearly evident for 6 years, probably more.

The GOP doesn’t believe in what their base believes in, and they just Act six weeks before Elections.

They supported Joe Biden’s agenda for two years, except for one piece of legislation the Dems passed without them.

They voted for Merrick Garland, they love Christopher Wray, and they are silent on Jan 6th commission lies.

Unless and until the Elected GOP Reps embrace the base’s beliefs, you’ll see this undermining and sabotage by slimy Politicians.

They wouldn’t criticize Obama in any meaningful way, and outside of Election time, they won’t say a bad word about Demented, Corrupt Joe.

.

The sooner we start over, the faster we’ll be winning.

There is no Republican Party without Donald Trump.

This is the same party that was quite comfortable with Hillary Clinton as President in 2016. Yeah, they played the charade with candidates such as Yeb Bush and Chris Christie who were guaranteed to lose, but they were so comfortable with Hillary Clinton as President that they attacked the outsider, Donald Trump, who was the only one who was going to beat her.

The Democrats and the RINOs miscalculated how many votes they needed to steal in 2016 and were determined to not make that mistake again.

These people need to be charged with TREASON.
