Republicans don't play that way.
“I can’t think of a single black Democrat woman in major political office (or even a candidate for one) who doesn’t come across as a buffoon and a clown.”
It is not a major political office, but I admit to voting for Alisha Searcy (D) for Georgia Superintendent of Schools in the most recent election. Her Republican opponent, the incumbent, has been in that office for 30 years and seems hopelessly out-of-touch with what is (or should be) going on in today’s schools. Searcy is a former state legislator, and currently runs an educational consultant firm. I thought she was the better choice for the job. She is definitely neither a buffon nor a clown.
