Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, is among a group of 59 influential conservative power brokers who signed an open letter pressing Republican leaders in the House and Senate to delay their internal conference leadership elections.
“The Republican Party needs leaders who will confidently and skillfully present a persuasive coherent vision of who we are, what we stand for, and what we will do. Many current elections are still undecided. There should be no rushed leadership elections,” the letter says.

The 2020 game plan, destined to meet the same failure.
They need to go ahead and vote now. The decisions need to be made by the people who OK’d the “Sunsetting Social Security” and “Abortion ban” messages that they released to sabotage the red wave in hopes of hurting Trump’s popularity/hopes for 2024.
If they wait until some of these NEW people are elected/seated their leadership posts might be in trouble.
And we can’t have THAT now, can we?
Question: Has it always been that way; that the House and Senate elect new leaders for the next Congress before the next Congress takes office???
How un-democratic can that be - those elected have no voice in their leadership???
