There isn't a shortage of American workers, but a shortage of Americans that want to work. The two youngest generations that are working age are pretty lazy.

There isn't a shortage of American workers, but a shortage of decent wages.

Fixed it.

Democrats have screwed up the employment situation so badly we have a worker shortage that shouldn’t exist. In addition to the incentives to not work while getting government money, employers have their hands tied and only allow workers limited hours so those who want to work are underemployed. Our daughter has a job with a fluctuating schedule limited to I believe 30 hours. Most entry level jobs are limited hours, and without a set schedule it’s impossible ro commit to a second job, likely that would have limited hours at the whim of the work scheduler.

If the free market was actually working, benefits would adjust, wages would adjust, and we oiled have a much improved country.

Shutting off the welfare/freebie pipeline is the obvious answer. Work or starve...just like we do.
