βHe kind of did disappoint a little last night, not to be too hard on him,β Kelly said Wednesday on her podcast. βI know he was trying to do presidential and he was trying to not screw anything up for Herschel Walker, but he did seem a little low energy. I was slightly bored.β
If Trump had been more flamboyant, she'd have criticized him for that, too. There's nothing Trump could have done in his announcement that Kelly would have not criticized.
I liked the version of Trump who made his announcement. That guy can win a general election in 2024, if the Republicans get their act together and implement their own ballot-harvesting mechanisms to counter Democrat ballot-harvesting. The version of Trump who keeps attacking fellow conservatives and insulting people for no reason is going to get a lot of people casting ballots just to vote against him.

Good comments, especially the part about bashing other conservatives. The part of the speech she and the rest of the yahoos probably found boring was the part wherein he mentioned some of his accomplishments. Accomplishments done while under withering fire from the left, the media and the RINOs.
Today there is a story of some border patrol, probably coast guard, fired on by some drug and smugglers off PRico. Can you imagine that happening under a Trump administration? I cannot. That smuggler boat should have been left a hollowed out hulk. But under president depends, NADA will happen.
