In fairness it is too early for many people to do endorsements. They could end up looking pretty silly if they endorse ahead of the election and then the person they endorse withdraws or fails for lack of funds or other reasons.

Contrary to my deepest sentiment and my initial reaction, I think that is exactly how to play your cards: close to the vest until it comes time to call, Fold, or raise.
