Incoming House Judiciary Committee chairman formally accuses FBI of meddling in last four elections

The incoming chairman of the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday formally accused the FBI of meddling in the last four elections to the detriment of Republicans, citing the Russia collusion probe, the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story and the raid on Donald Trump's home .

Maybe it'd be nice if the FBI and the Justice Department just stayed out of it and let we the people decide who we think should represent us, who we think should lead us," he added. "That’s supposed to be how America works.

"So this is the focus on the Judiciary Committee, the political nature of the Justice Department and the linkage now to what was happening with the Hunter Biden story, again just 15 days before we had a presidential election."

The FBI has repeatedly denied that politics has played a role in any of the Trump investigations but acknowledged significant failures in many of them, including the inappropriate expression of political bias by supervisors, the over-collection of evidence and the inclusion of false or unverified information in search warrants.

That’s nice but the new Congress needs to shut down the USPS until the Dem mail-in ballot machine gets dismantled. They should shut down the country until the election laws get reformed. Federal jurisdiction is present for the USPS, interstate data transfer from voting machines, interstate commerce of election services, etc.

Time to go “Rambo” on those Democrats (non-violently, of course). They drew first blood.

After being locked in a closet in DC the GOP has a lot of pent up energy for revenge.

The Republicans need to fully support the USPS. They shouldn't pretend that it can be a stand-alone moneymaking business. If the USPS is required to deliver letters to every address in the US at a reasonable price, then it can't be expected to turn a profit. People in BFE Kansas are not going to pay FEDEX rates just to send a letter to their family in BFE Montana.

If the Republicans stopped pretending that the USPS can transform into FEDEX, then the USPS would have less of a reason to screw with elections.

The USPS instituted OCR decades ago. They are replacing individual mailboxes with group boxes. They are delivering packages on Sundays. They are not standing still and doing things the way they always did.

Amtrak, and all forms of public transport, are similar. No matter how hard they try, no public form of transport pays for itself. If the fares are raised too high, then people stop using it. If the fares are lowered, then they run deficits.

Libertarians would be OK with this. If you can't afford FEDEX, then you shouldn't live in the country, or you should stick with email. If you can't afford a car, then live next to work and walk.

I suppose everyone should have his own well, generate his own electricity, and manage his own trash and sewage as well.

Unfortunately, the USPS is a self-funding independent agency of the executive branch. The only way to impact it would be to NOT authorize extra funds when requested. It’s provided for in the Constitution, so it will be impossible to stop having only the House.

House majority GOP promised to investigate numerous govt scandals such as the corrupt FBI
<><>how the bureau manufactures data to promote phony narratives
<><>invents “domestic violent extremists,” i.e., supporters of Donald Trump,
<><>who exactly the FBI considers a security threat to the country.
<><>how the FBI misrepresents the scale of domestic violent extremism nationwide
<><>categorizing J6ok-related investigations from local field offices, not to a single incident.

Here’s the 2nd paragraph:

When is the FBI gonna quit interfering with elections?” Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, asked a news conference laying out the GOP’s investigative priorities next year. “2016, they spied on President Trump’s campaign. 2018, it was the Mueller investigation. 2020, they suppressed information about the Hunter Biden story. 2022, they raided the President’s home 91 days before an election.
