The Justice Department’s declaration that Attorney General Jeff Sessions is considering appointing a special counsel to investigate Hillary Clinton in response to demands by Republicans should alarm anyone who cares about the independence of the department.

They then pushed for No Special Counsel for Hillary, Huma, and the boys…

Now, they’re reveling in a Special Conusel for Trump.

This Special Counsel, Smith, is good friends with Andrew Weismann, who no doubt made the recommendation.
