I lost as I had bet he would leave the first week when the US offered him a ride. Since then, I have stayed up with the news from there but I can’t make heads or tails what is going on over there.
How can the Ukrainians spend or used $100 billion worth of equipment in less than a year in a country that size? I don’t think it is possible.
And the Russians, what the heck are they doing? They seem to be bleeding dry. If they have given their best shot, they have known for months that they are not going to win the war or even a small part of the war. They should have said “ Oops, our bad” and pulled out.
And the US and the rest of the West could have stopped this thing months ago. Why are they letting this thing go on? This is terribly expensive with Brandon pushing $20 billion every month just from the US. Also, the Ukrainians are letting us know that they expect the West to rebuild the country after the war. That will be more than ten times the cost of the war.
I can’t figure out what is going on. It makes no sense.
