How exactly does a package service work to get an apple pie to the war front? Amazon 2-day shipping? FedEx? UPS?

These people are fighting in their backyard.
You could drive to the forward areas.
No problem to understand really....no oceans to cross, no flight time.

What was amazing....back in 2004 I was temporarily assigned to an area near Tallil. That was considered the boonies.
I ordered an external hard drive via internet from California....the device was in my hands within 10 days.
Of course being near the MSR helped.

Well there are lulls on the front line and they have to get food at some point. It’s not like Ukraine has military kitchens working round the clock in black outconditions.
