Sen. Susan Collins (Maine), a prominent centrist Republican, said Monday that former President Trump should not have had a meal or a meeting with Nick Fuentes, a white supremacist organizer and podcaster.
“I condemn white supremacy and antisemitism. The president should never have had a meal or even a meeting with Nick Fuentes,” Collins told reporters when asked about a dinner Trump had with Fuentes and Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, at Mar-a-Lago before Thanksgiving.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) reported that Fuentes and his followers support closing U.S. borders to immigrants and oppose feminism and LGBTQ rights as the “bastardized Jewish subversion of the American creed.”
The ADL also pointed out that Fuentes attended the white supremacist “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Va., in 2017.
Trump said in a post on Truth Social, his social media platform, that West asked him to have dinner at Mar-a-Lago and “unexpectedly showed up with three of his friends, whom I knew nothing about,” referring to Fuentes.

Susan Collins should never have been a Republican.
It was a rally to protect a statue that was attended by a wide group of people some of whom were white nationalists.
It was also a rally where the police, rather than keeping the protesters and counter-protesters separated, actually pushed them together in order to cause violence to occur.
It was also the rally where the Dem governor failed to provide enough security in order that the violence would get out of hand.
Charlottesville was not some 4D chess being played by Trump's opponents to besmirch his name. What Trump said was exactly correct: there were good people there protecting monuments.
It was the MSM that provided the false narrative and the Dems that provided the fireworks.

The irony is this is only going to generate lots more income for Fuentes as his fan boys shower him with money.
Ye couldn't put together a single coherent sentence. It was just some odd combination of cliches and rappisms.
Trump should have given Ye advice over the phone in a room with no one else present.

I agree completely. C-ville was a Soros paid agit prop operation. He bused in actors to play both Antifa and the neo Nazis. It was all an act. Have you seen neo Nazis’ hold a tiki torch parade since? No. Trump wasn’t prepared for the C-ville setup. His comment that there were good people on both sides of the statute issue was twisted to mean neo Nazis’, aka white supremacists, are good people. That’s what Soros was after.

But, not one of around 250 comes out to defend him, and Biden speaks gibberish, speaks of Russian Nukes, and says good luck investigating him on his 35 yrs of corruption - and the GOP hopes no one notices, so they can continue to partner with the Bidens.
Just because the Democrats and some Republicans are hypocritical doesn’t mean that Fuentes is a good guy.
