The Chinese Communist Party, through its state propaganda outlets, insisted that it would not relent on its brutal lockdown and quarantine policies known as “zero Covid” on Monday, apparently responding to, but not acknowledging, protests in major cities nationwide over the weekend.
Beijing has insisted on “zero Covid” for nearly three years, abruptly trapping people in their homes and often leaving them without food or basic medicine. The Chinese government announced its first deaths attributed to a Chinese coronavirus infection in six months last week – three people over the age of 87 – meaning that, by the regime’s own tally, more people have died as a result of lockdowns, forced internment in quarantine camps, and other “zero Covid” policies than by Chinese coronavirus infections.

The first thing to understand is this is the Communist Party of China. They already have 100% control of their society. They don’t need any excuses to have more, because they are in a total way, maxed out.
The second thing to understand is they have the original owners manual for the virus. It came from their production source. It could have been a kitchen table with some 19 year old Bionerd doing the biology equivalent of a software app, but in this case, almost certainly it came from a CCP lab — and thus they know more about the virus than anyone else.
THIS is what drives their zero Covid policy. They know more about it. They are very much concerned.
Now you can believe they care more about their old people than the US does, or you can believe the US doesn’t know as much as they do about the virus and its potential.
There is really nothing in between those options.

Indeed, Fauci knew from previous studies that there were far more effective treatments against C-19 that he actively and dictatorially militated against, e.g., HCQ, Ivermectin, and Pepto-Bismol. The Biden Administration's suppression of Amercans' First Amendment rights ipso facto brands them as traitors.
Biden's active advice to Canada's Premier Trudeau to crackdown against the truckers in combination with what Fauci was given license to do above, tells us all we need to know about how the Biden Administration is not at all working in the interests of the American (or Canadian) people, to whom they are responsible via their Oath of Office.
Its like they’re trying to both destroy the economy and bring about revolution. It makes no sense, in a nation of a billion and a half people there will ALWAYS be some cases of everything.

There is no law in China. Xi has “won” only due to power struggle. He has used Zero Covid in this. As control mechanism and as propaganda. His claim to rule is he kept China free from Covid disaster with Zero Covid and only China is not decimated by Covid. The control of media and information is such that people believe that the rest of the world is worse. Then they saw the World Cup and all the crowds with no masks, no problems with or fear of Covid.
That was not the initial spark, many began rebelling before. The policy is insane and carried out even worse. People are sick of it. Being locked in places for weeks and months. Hauled off to camps randomly.
But, as they have kept making this more and more draconian, I have begun to wonder. Maybe the Chicoms know they’ve accidentally released another virus that is actually worse.
