Could Mike do a worse job than what we already have?

Bottom line, McDaniel has to go and not be replaced by another Michael Steele or other loser. Lindell would drive the Left crazy, and that would be a good thing.

But would he raise money and get Republicans elected?

That's the primary job of the RNC Chairman.

"Loser" Michael Steele, as you might remember, presided over an RNC that raised a then-unprecedented $200 million and saw 63 House Republicans elected to office in 2010, the largest number since 1938.

Raise boat-tons of cash and sending elected Republicans to Washington would be Lindell's job over making the Left crazy.

McDaniel endorsed by majority of RNC members for chair as Zeldin considers challenge

At least Zeldin raised money and got Republicans elected, even if he himself lost.

His efforts helped flip the House.

Exactly!
There hasn’t been a capable person there since Atwater!

The position needs to be held by someone who is a strategic thinker, understands on-the-ground-retail-politics, not afraid to get in the left’s face and has no more political ambitions then that job. Almost no one fits the necessary requirements except for Gingrich (Who won’t do it!).

A wild card choice might be David Horowitz. Certainly understands the mind of the left, a strategic thinker but would be weak on the retail-politics side. Too old, too intellectual for serious consideration.

Anyway it’s all controlled by the state chairs. They’re usually political careerist assholes so the choice will likely go to another PR placeholder.

Let's just hope he doesn't start running more commercials for his candidacy!

I post threads about all sorts of things over which I can exercise no direct control whatever. I’m just planting seeds that I hope will germinate into thoughts in the minds of those with the power to make things happen, and maybe not even thoughts that I agree with, which might lead to actions that I like.

What I can’t (but actually can) believe is the deafening silence from Republicans and has even one, nevermind the entire republican party, asked Ronna McRomeny to resign in disgrace? Has any reporter even given her the third degree how she botched the 2020 and 2022 fraudlections?

“McDaniel has to go and not be replaced by another Michael Steele or other loser.”

Ronna only cares about flitting around from resort to resort with the beautiful people, and being invited to all the right parties. She is NOT a worker; she is NOT a conservative. Steele was our token AA Chairman, and was absolutely useless.

Lindell is far from lazy, and whatever he does, he’s in it 100%. So what if he isn’t charming? We’ve had charming and charming has bit us in the butt.

That guy was a total RINO stooge. Pretty sure he was the leaker within Trumps early cabinet.

“Could Mike do a worse job than what we already have?”

Nope. Unlike Ronna, he might even dispense RNC money to conservative candidates. To quote Mike, “What a concept!!”

Worst qualities in politics. Sorry to say, but true. Pence had all that and he was steamrolled.
