Muhammad Ali talks about racial integration in USA; November 1971 on Parkinson, a British television chat show.

"You may be right, dead right, as you speed along in your argument; but as far as changing another's mind is concerned, you will probably be just as futile as if you were wrong." - Dale Carnegie

“you’re a hater of your people if you don’t want to stay who you are.”

He’s summed up the leftist, globalist mindset

Here's another interesting thing about the Left's mindset, submitted by the poster of this thread.
"You may be right, dead right, as you speed along in your argument; but as far as changing another's mind is concerned, you will probably be just as futile as if you were wrong." - Dale Carnegie
Now, given how true that statement is, consider the magnitude of the obstacle we face when we try to figure out just how the hell we are going to solve the "Woke" problem.

These Woke people are brainwashed--thoroughly brainwashed to the point of being in a hypnotic trance. Nothing short of intense deprogramming is going to rid them of that brainwashing and pull them free of the cult of Woke.

And I don't honestly think you can deprogram a huge mass of people.

The “greatest” right up until the draft almost interfered with his income.

“War is against the teachings of the Koran. I’m not trying to dodge the draft. We are not supposed to take part in no wars unless declared by Allah or The Messenger. We don’t take part in Christian wars or wars of any unbelievers”.

Muhammed Ali on why he resisted the draft

You are correct. It can't be done. And attempting to "de-program" a huge group just becomes another form of fascism/communism.

Events will have to do it. Conditions will change. Nothing stays the same, and at some point, things will reach and extreme, and probably dangerous, conclusion.

Really, its in God's hands.

That reminds me of when Clay/Ali was fighting Floyd Patterson. Patterson always called him Cassius Clay “because that’s what his mother named him.” During the fight, in which Clay/Ali carried Patterson in order to essentially torture him, taunted him with “what’s my name”.

Ali is funny. He has some good points. It shows that even an advocate of segregation does not necessarily do so out of racial hatred. This is free speech which would be strongly condemned today to the point that if Ali were at the peak of his career today, he would lose that career for these words alone.

On the other hand, advocating for an integrated society is also free speech.

More significantly, Ali clearly has white ancestry as well as black. This undercuts a lot of his arguments. He says it’s natural (and means that it’s ONLY natural) to want to marry someone who has the same ethnic and cultural background as you do. That may be what he wants, and that’s fine. But it may not be what others want, including some of his own ancestors. Ali’s looks came from ancestors who didn’t subscribe to his beliefs.

I read that, as I was looking up “Cassius Clay” (to be sure of the correct spelling...don’t get old LOL). Went the full 15 rounds, I think I read, just to torture him.

That was a great video BTW.

“...don’t get old LOL”

your warning came way too late for me to heed.

Yes, Patterson pulled a muscle in his back if I remember right, quite early in the fight and was prevented from even fighting back. I liked Patterson, he’s the ONLY fighter I ever saw who attempted to help someone he knocked down to get back up, the referee had to actually push him toward the neutral corner. He seemed to be such a nice guy it was a wonder how he ended up being a boxer of all things.

Clay's first dalliance with Islam wasn't real Islam, it was a wackadoodle cult of institutionalized (anti-white) racism and anti-Semitism called the Nation of Islam, AKA the "black" Muslims (who are about as Muslim as a bacon sandwich with a side of chitterlings).

On their website (NOI.org), Calypso Louie Farrakhan and his band of merry racists used to have a prominent page describing how the White race was created 6600 years ago by a black mad scientist named Yakub, who created them specifically for the purpose of bedeviling black folk. NOI since has wised up and removed that particular (and obviously ridiculous) page (or if it's there they've hidden it where I can't find it) but the story of Yakub is still noted on the NOI's wikipedia page.

They also have an oral tradition that at the time of the building of the pyramids of Egypt, black folk could fly, but Yakub's White devils stole that ability from them, conveniently omitting the details of how black folk could manage to fly, how the White devils managed to steal it, or why the White devils themselves have never made use of it.

That's the nonsense "Ali" was buying into, and that degree of cynicism rarely if ever washes off.

When Ali converted (again) to 'mainstream' (Sunni) Islam, he allegedly did so over dissatisfaction with the transition of power after the death of Elijah Muhammad, but he never renounced the NOI's racist and anti-Semitic doctrine, or its fairy tale origins.

After the 9/11 attacks, Ali was quoted as saying, "...they are not real Muslims. They are racist fanatics who call themselves Muslims," invoking the Muhammadan's favorite rhetorical tactic, the "No True Scotsman" logical fallacy, while conveniently ignoring that the same was true of the Nation of Islam: "They are racist fanatics who call themselves Muslims."

A little-known "inside boxing" story, Ali might have lost the opportunity to fight for the title when he did (and might never again have been in the position to fight for the belt) if Angelo Dundee hadn't bent the rules in the Henry Cooper fight. Cooper rocked Clay in the final seconds of the 4th, and would have floored Clay if he hadn't caught the ropes first. The bell rang and as Dundee worked with Clay after the round, he found a small tear in one of his gloves. Knowing there were no spare gloves at ringside, and knowing his fighter needed some time to clear the cobwebs, Dundee poked a finger in the little hole and made it a big one, then complained to the referee that the glove was torn.

And the fight was stopped while they went looking for a replacement. Which is why all prizefights now have to keep spare gloves at ringside.

Ali TKO'd Cooper in the next round, on the basis of which he got the title fight with Liston.

You can, but the deprogramming has to be as relentless and pervasive as the programming was.

Can you think of any examples where that has been done before (not brought about by the end of a war)?

Genealogist Antoinette O’Brien discovered that one of Ali’s great-grandfathers emigrated to the United States from County Clare.

In the 1860s, Abe Grady left Ennis in County Clare to start a new life in America. He would make his home in Kentucky and marry a free African-American woman.

The couple started a family, and one of their daughters was Odessa Lee Grady. Odessa met and married Cassius Clay, Sr. and on January 17, 1942, Cassius junior was born.

In 2009, Ali visited County Clare with his then wife to connect with his Irish roots, where he received a resounding welcome from the populace. He was mobbed by tens of thousands of locals who turned out to meet him and show him the area where his great-grandfather came from.

Ali’s views on many subjects, including intergration, changed as he matured and gained more wisdom. I suspect that this revelation about his Caucasian ancestry had much to do with it.

I'd say cointelpro and related ops has done a damned good job of programming generally. Like fish in water, we don't notice it because it is so pervasive.

But is it possible to deprogram a huge mass of brainwashed people? I can't think of any successful large-scale deprogramming effort that has ever worked (except where the loss of a war brought such about).

Prof Mattias Desmet who writes and studies what he calls "mass formations" has said that they can be naturally deprogrammed by being in a society of non-brainwashed people, but he is only theorizing (i.e., no evidence).

I've seen hardcore Lefties who were thoroughly brainwashed in liberal colleges retain their hardcore Left beliefs even when they worked around solid free-marketeers on Wall St. Now that I look back on it, I find it shocking.
