Someone breaking into your garage to commit a crime and someone walking into Home Depot and stealing an item are two VASTLY different things.
Depends on the amount of theft, and the size of the chain.
Obviously small mom and pop stores hurt harder then say walmart.
So anyone who steals anything on any given day is a looter and should be shot on sight? You’re going to shoot some kid who snags a pack of gum on a dare? Have fun with that in court.

When people do what that criminal did, and what those mobs do, that’s looting.
It’s certainly not your ordinary shoplifter who conceals a couple things and tries to get out of the store unnoticed.
These folks are stealing to sell later on Ebay and Amazon.

I never ever in my 55 years of life would i have ever imagined being REQUIRED to wear a face mask while entering a bank.

I’m old enough to remember the posters FORBIDDING the wearing of anything like masks, helmets, sunglasses, etc, inside banks.
