“You would shoot a guy for stealing a hammer?”
If he came into my garage and stole it, I’d shoot him.
But then you didn’t ask what I’d LIKE to do........What I’d like to do is shoot him, tie him up, hang him from a telephone pole and put a sign under him that anyone that steals or breaks into a house has an example of their future.
Or if they dropped the hammer, I’d provide addresses to those establishments that wouldn’t shoot him. That way he knows where stealing isn’t considered a crime
Someone breaking into your garage to commit a crime and someone walking into Home Depot and stealing an item are two VASTLY different things.
