Seventy countries and globalist institutions lined up Tuesday to pledge an additional one billion euros ($1.1 billion) in emergency winter aid to Ukraine, responding to personal pleas from President Volodymyr Zelensky to help his country withstand the winter ahead.

The promises came as France hosted a global meeting in its capital to discuss what could be delivered between now and March to maintain water, food, energy, health and transport during Ukraine’s typically frigid winter.

Are you getting angry yet?

How much is that so far? Anyone keeping records?

It has more than replaced Afghanistan as a bottomless pit or so it seems...

I have no objection whatever to Russia bleeding for it’s attempts to expand westward, but this is really starting to seem like a financially expensive proxy war between the US and Russia - I don’t remember signing up for this.

20 billion here, 10 billion there, add another billion. Pretty soon you’re talking real money.

“I’m so sick of Zelensky, Europe, and Russia.”

I’m sick of the fact that if we ever do have to fight the Russians (or Chinese) head-to-head, we’ll have to use weapons that the those countries are already familiar with, have developed countermeasures against, and likely have copies of.

It makes Bill Clinton’s gift of rocket technology to China look like chump change.

I actually believe that Biden was trying to prevent this crap, but the Neocons are so strong that they just over=ran him. Very few Americans have NO IDEA how long the Neocons and their supporters have been SALIVATING for a war against Russia, but often you can see it here.

More than $1 billion pledged for Ukraine at winter aid conference, French foreign minister says

The money, pledged by 46 countries and 24 international organizations, will be split between restoring Ukraine’s depleted energy network, the food sector, water supply, health and transportation, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna told the conference, adding that $520 million of funding was yet to be allocated.

“I have no objection whatever to Russia bleeding for it’s attempts to expand westward”

You may want to compare Russia’s recent attempt to ‘expand westward’ to the Neocon hell-bent expansion of NATO Eastward, DESPITE promises not to decades ago.

This could end the “war”.
Zelensky should think twice about the missiles, because...he’ll be dead.

Look Bobby, Russia expands westward only by violent warmongering, causing misery, death and destruction in the process

NATO “expanded” solely thru voluntary membership - no misery, no lives were lost, and no destruction occurred

** can you understand that important difference?

Been is an evil, pedophile crook who has been more than happy to profit off of the Forever War. Biden is all in on the Ukraine War to cover his corrupt deals in the Ukraine and to make even more money of spilling American blood and treasure.

Biden is pure scum.

I was keeping track through the end of summer and we were blowing $500Million a day. We have no idea how much this is costing in addition to the announced wasted funds. Undoubtedly, there are tens of billions in dark money spent. The massive continuing redeployments of American and NATO military assets along with their upkeep in the field is billions more. When we begin to warp speed reproduce the weapons pi$$ed away in Ukraine, you can add additional billions. As I predicted in March, the best case scenario “end” to this proxy war is a multi trillion dollar, generational Cold War arms race. We are currently in that best case scenario.

First off, NATO accepts petitions to join, and does not “expand” by rolling tanks into new territory. Independent countries (like Finland and Sweden, most recently) clamor to join NATO in order to secure some protection from russian aggression.

Second, what promises? Can you please point to a signed treaty that says NATO will never include additional European countries? Because I can point to a treaty, signed by russia, that says russia will respect Ukraine’s sovereignty and borders. Which it obviously didn’t...

“First off, NATO accepts petitions to join, and does not “expand” by rolling tanks into new territory.”
Doesn’t change my point...even if true.

“Second, what promises? Can you please point to a signed treaty that says NATO will never include additional European countries?”
Russia made the mistake of not getting it in writing, like Minsk 2. They will NEVER trust the West again. If the West doesn’t want Ukraine being run by Russia, they might as well get their nukes dusted off, because that’s the only way it can end.

“Because I can point to a treaty, signed by russia, that says russia will respect Ukraine’s sovereignty and borders.”
You mean Minsk 2, the treat signed by Russia, Germany, and France which Merkel admitted last week was never intended to be complied with by the West, just buy time to re-arm Ukraine (her words, pal). So now this Ukraine War WILL NOT with a piece of paper - think Berlin in 1945.
