Twitter Inc suspended an account tracking its owner Elon Musk's private jet in real-time, with the billionaire threatening legal action against the account's operator after saying his son had been mistakenly followed by a "crazy stalker".
The suspension comes just a month after Musk, who bought Twitter for $44 billion in October, said his commitment to free speech extended to not banning the account.
ElonJet, operated by 20-year-old university student Jack Sweeney, had tracked the movements of Musk's private jet using data available in the public domain before the suspension.
Sweeney's other accounts were also suspended at the time of reporting.
Twitter and Sweeney did not respond to Reuters' requests for comments.
Twitter briefly reinstated the "bot", or automated, account before again suspending it, after saying sharing "live location information" was a violation of its policy.

I like free speach too, but i would do what Musk may probably end up doing.

It is common for celebrities or other high profile people with private planes to have the FAA block their flight data. It is a simple form.

He should do this in addition to any other steps he feels are necessary.
I’m not sure I understand Musk on this one. Yes it’s a bit creepy, but banning it both contradicts his principles and accomplishes almost nothing. The effort involved in looking up the plane’s position on public sources is trivial. It’s just the difference between visiting the tracker, versus going to a website and looking it up yourself.

Well, if you had bought Twitter and decided to make it fair then you would likely have all of your phones and accounts under continuous monitoring, your home and office bugged, and all of your friends and associated getting the same. You know, the Trump treatment. Hire a hitman .... well, you'd have to be pretty clever to figure out a way.
Obviously some of the 7 onboard cams on a Tesla caught the license plate of this vehicle. So what is the police response so far?
