THANKS, KATHY,
PERSONAL THANKS FOR ALL THAT YOU DO, AND ALL THAT YOU DO, YOU DO JUST RIGHT.
I’D SEND YOU SOME LATKES (MY MOTHER’S UNEQUALED RECEIPT) IF I WASN’T SURE THAT THEY’D BE FROZEN SOLID BEFORE THEY GOT TO YA!
THERE ARE FOUR KINDS OF LATKE EATERS: THOSE WHO SCOOP UP APPLESAUCE WITH THEM, AND CHOW DOWN, THOSE WHO DO THE SAME WITH SOUR CREAM, THOSE WHO GO FOR EITHER, AND THOSE WHO PUT KETCHUP ON THEM...THEY’RE VERY FEW IN NUMBER ‘CAUSE THE REST OF US HAVE ALMOST COMPLETELY ERADICATED THEM, CULINARY HEATHENS THAT THEY ARE!
THANKS AGAIN.
I'm going to bow out of the Canteen and rest up, I did a bit too many errands today and am tired, talk later!
But - but - have we forgotten Adam Sandler?

NOTHING I CAN THINK OF. YA DONE GOOD!
I SUPPOSE YOU’VE HEARD THE READERS DIGEST VERSION OF ALL COMMEMORATIVE JEWISH HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS (GOT THIS FROM ONE OF MY KIDS), LIKE PASSOVER, PURIM, CHANUKAH...CONDENSED JEWISH HISTORY.
THEY TRIED TO KILL US.
WE WON.
LET’S EAT!
Ha, I like it! Not what happened, but the Text-Sized Version.
Short & punchy!
The middle-American Engish version of Veni-Vidi-Vici
How about a cookie?
HEY GIRL,
HOW YA DOIN’?
SAW WHERE THERE WAS NO DROUGHT PROBLEM ANYMORE IN YOUR NECK OF THE WOODS. HAVE YOU STARTED ON AN ARK YET?
Good evening, radu...hope your rain has gone away for a while.
It finally stopped snowing and got COLD!! We have no degrees right now. It is zero!
Howdy, Kathy.
Ya reckon you’ll ever be set free? With the sun shining today, we can really see the snow well and OMG, there’s so much of it! The horizon is hazy with blown snow from all the plowing and snow blowing being done around the city.
Sunny, windy, and downright nippy here today. Not much fun being out this afternoon.
Hmmm looks good. I’ll take one Driedel and one Star of David.
There is one Jewish recipe dessert that I am very familiar with, because of a nearby Bagel Maker.
They call it a Hamantash (sp) = Shortbread in shape of a triangle with a dab of fruit jelly in the middle. I may have discussed them here before. I still haven’t figured out how to make them the same way myself yet.
Howdy, Fiji.
LOL! Where do you find these tunes? I can’t say I ever heard of this one. It’s funny but true. Things haven’t changed much at all since ‘85, have they?
