For those like myself, mostly unfamiliar with Hanukkah, (Dec. 18 this year) outside of the definition and the time of year it’s celebrated, there are some dee-licious foods often found on the menus of those celebrating Hanukkah.
Just to list a few:
Orange-Ginger Roast Chicken with Fennel and Radicchio Salad.
Potato Latkes
Applesauce
Everything Bagel-Crusted Salmon
Sweets include
Jammy Walnut Rugelach
Jelly Donuts
Blueberry Muffins!
What have I missed?
NOTHING I CAN THINK OF. YA DONE GOOD!
I SUPPOSE YOU’VE HEARD THE READERS DIGEST VERSION OF ALL COMMEMORATIVE JEWISH HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS (GOT THIS FROM ONE OF MY KIDS), LIKE PASSOVER, PURIM, CHANUKAH...CONDENSED JEWISH HISTORY.
