To: Kathy in Alaska

For those like myself, mostly unfamiliar with Hanukkah, (Dec. 18 this year) outside of the definition and the time of year it’s celebrated, there are some dee-licious foods often found on the menus of those celebrating Hanukkah.
Just to list a few:

Orange-Ginger Roast Chicken with Fennel and Radicchio Salad.
Potato Latkes
Applesauce
Everything Bagel-Crusted Salmon

Sweets include
Jammy Walnut Rugelach
Jelly Donuts
Blueberry Muffins!

What have I missed?

I SUPPOSE YOU’VE HEARD THE READERS DIGEST VERSION OF ALL COMMEMORATIVE JEWISH HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS (GOT THIS FROM ONE OF MY KIDS), LIKE PASSOVER, PURIM, CHANUKAH...CONDENSED JEWISH HISTORY.

THEY TRIED TO KILL US.
