If we can continue to pick up 5-10 seats each general
election, we should be fairly competitive within 4 or 5
cycles.

Another reason not to rely on the Republicans for anything. Only 25 voted against this Inflation causing Monstrosity. So in two years has ginned the deficit up what, about $5 Trillion. Wait until this gets baked into the Inflation figures in a few months.
That will be a can of worms that none of us want opened.

There were plenty of Earmarks in the Bill for Republicans, Richard Shelby slipped in about $650 Million himself.

But I’m old enough to remember the good years of the country both my Parents fought in WWII, I grew-up in, and loved.
I'm sure, that "former" Democrat is one of the main reasons this is even happening. And he won't even be back again next year to answer for any of it, how convenient.
I’d be surprised if any Democrats voted against it. They may have.
Before we can rebuild, we will have to eliminate every traitor…every last one of them. When your house has been turned to sawdust by termites, you can’t rebuild until you first exterminate the termites.
The type of people who would do something like this aren’t Americans in any conceivable sense. They’re just narcissistic demons who will sell out this country, impoverish and endanger its citizens, and even kill us if need be to promote their own self interest. Any available civil remedy was left in the rear view mirror long ago. Just watch what is coming in Brazil to see a proper response to tyranny.
Our nation’s founders knew first hand that you can’t reason with tyrants, you can only fight and defeat them. The United States wouldn’t exist had there not been a full-throated rebellion against tyranny.
