MacGregor's assessment is very pessimistic about Ukraine.
He says Ukraine is losing now and soon will be losing big time, from Russia's massive new offensive, once the ground freezes.
In the mean time, Russia is methodically taking out Ukraine's electric & other infrastructure, so millions more civilians must leave the country or freeze.
In short, MacGregor is painting a worst case scenario for Ukraine, in hopes that Biden will force Zalensky to negotiate with Russia, give up Crimea and the Donbas, and promise no NATO membership.
No way for me to tell how accurate MacGregor's assessment might be.

Last night before Congress that Ukrainian so and so said the billions we've given him is an ''investment in freedom''. Freedom for whom? And Biden has pledged $110 billion more. And this on top of the $45 billion he's gotten already. BILLIONS!!. My grandsons future mortgaged away and for what? As to MacGregor? Well he doesn't impress me as much of a pundit by I will say he was one hell of a tank commander. I read his book "Warriors Rage''. Boy he shot the piss out of the Iraqi Talwakana Mechanized Brigade at the Battle of 73 Easting. I highly recommend it, quite an exciting read. Well I'm praying for America, that's for sure.
