I think I agree with you -- McGregor claimed Russian military has an "8 to 1" "kill ratio" over Ukrainians, but that is only possible if you take Russian numbers at face value.
US Pentagon and UK intelligence numbers say "kill ratio" is roughly one to one.
So, it appears McGregor is full of... something smelly. ;-)
