Looks like an excellent chance to launder more money and arms. Probably should support and sell to both sides.

The neocons have a new country where they can send hundreds of billions in American treasure to whatever side. It’s doesn’t matter, just send the money!

“Ethnic Albanian-majority Kosovo”... Albania is doing their best to make England their next ‘Albanian-majority territory’, unless the Brits can find a way to stop them infiltrating from France by the thousands every week... It’s essentially the equivalent of Albanians coming to Canada, and then immigrating to the United States as refugees from a Canada.
And Albania will soon be an EU country... It’s astounding, because their biggest export is... Albanians.

It really is a beautiful part of the world. I rode my motorcycle from Athens all the way up the coast and over the Italian / Austrian Alps in to Munich. Absolutely beautiful countryside.

Back in the 19th century the powers of Europe had "wars for markets" the markets being colonial dependencies who would buy manufactured good. The USA did some of that too.
In this century the USA has wars for markets, but the big market is the war itself.
