I understand the Dems dismissive “we’ll donate the SBF political donations to charity” aren’t going to fly. Of course, a whole lot of those funds were spent during the 2022 campaign cycle. Hopefully, at least a good portion of the money can still be clawed back to the FTX/Alameda customers.
How can a person get a deduction for a ‘charity donation’ with money that was earned by another person-—further back in the chain?????
