Tennessee drag queens are taking on a state bill that will ban their performances in the presence of children.
Republican senator Jack Johnson proposed Senate Bill 3 that aims to restrict drag events that children can easily attend for being sexually explicit....
...The Senate bill refers to drag events as 'adult cabaret performances,' and is filed under 'obscenity and pornography.'
If passed, it 'creates an offense for a person who engages in an adult cabaret performance on public property or in a location where the adult cabaret performance could be viewed by a person who is not an adult.'
Advocates for the drag community argue that the acts are an art form....
...Saunders warned that the bill can be a danger to the LGBTQ community because it refers to drag performers as 'male or female impersonators.'

I just bet they do. These pedophiles have found a gold mine of access to children, all with the endorsement of the government, including child advocacy agencies, and the courts.
fun fact, DRAG comes from “dressed as girl” in the margins of Billy Shakespeare’s plays. I have not heard of this until recently-I found it interesting-maybe others are in the same boat.
This seems like a commonsense approach as long catering to the mentally ill means pacifying delusions.

Up until ten years ago...you had to go to a place like Miami, SF, or Chicago...for a drag-show. For a long while, I don’t think Tenn had a single ‘show’.
Then you wake up in 2020, and there seems to be 500 drag-shows around the US, and kids are being dragged in...like it was a circus show and dressed-up clowns.
The odd thing? Topless-dancer shows are still off-limits for kids.
Why would these show boys object to being banned from low budget shows for the kiddies? You would think they would make better money in the gay bar drag shows. Kids don’t bring 100 dollar bills up on stage in their teeth or have private VIP rooms for the big bucks.
Hotel lobbies in New Orleans have those tourist cards in the lobby and sure enough there’s drag shows on those racks of tourist cards of things to do...
I was working in New Orleans during Halloween one year... they go all out when observing that particular holiday.
In Myrtle beach they have shows with impersonators such as Tina Turner impersonators and Marilyn Monroe and Liza Minnelli impersonators and Cher impersonators etc.. but they’re not drag queens. New Orleans on the other hand... it’s all drag.
How hard was this to figure out, for Pete’s sake. These are hard core groomers. They should never have had access to children.
