Because that would not serve the CCP’s propaganda purposes - last week the actual covid death total was two (2) the rest were just the normal deaths from other causes.
Why this propaganda now and to what purpose, I don’t yet know, but the truth will eventually come out.
Everyone is going to get COVID. And everyone is going to get COVID multiple times, as it evolves.
It’s a Coronavirus, and the possibility that it would not become yet another endemic Coronavirus was essentially zero. If there was ever a possibility to prevent this, it was lost before anyone outside China knew it existed.
