Exclusive — Trump Warns GOP of Democrat ‘Traps’: ‘Have to Protect’ Social Security, Must Have ‘The Three Exceptions’ on Abortion
Breitbart ^ | 12/28/2022 | Matthew Boyle

Posted on 12/28/2022 9:03:32 PM PST by thegagline

Former President Donald Trump pledged he will never cut Social Security if elected again to the White House in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News here earlier in December.

“We’re not cutting Social Security,” Trump said. “It’s very simple. It’s a simple answer. We’re not cutting Social Security.” *** “We have to protect it. It’s a contract with the people,” Trump said of Social Security. “They go in. They work and they do. They put their blood, sweat, and tears into Social Security and then you have a guy like a Paul Ryan or others that want to destroy it. We have a contract. *** Then when they talk about Social Security, they’re going to destroy Social Security so they can build more windmills all over the place that don’t work? It’s not going to happen with me.”

*** Trump also warned of another “trap” he said Democrats laid for Republicans that he said too many fell into, which is on abortion in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. *** Even so, Trump argued that Republicans must support what he called “the three exceptions”—for rape, incest, and the life of the mother—to any measures banning abortion, or else they face electoral elimination in most of America. *** “Now, I think a lot of Republicans didn’t handle the abortion question properly,” Trump told Breitbart News. “I think if you don’t have the three exceptions, it’s almost impossible in most parts of the country to win. If you don’t have three exceptions—I said to a very nice man running for governor of Pennsylvania, ‘If you don’t have the three exceptions, you can’t win.’ ***

Act? Was this an act you dilettante?

Which POTUS was as successful as Trump? Look at what Trump accomplished:

  1. Gas price per gallon was about $2.30;
  2. Inflation about 1.4%, mortgage rates were half of what they are now;
  3. Unemployment was low before Covid and before Blue Governors shut everything down and we were in the midst of a V-shape recovery until January 22, 2021;
  4. Tax decrease; tax laws promoted small businesses as well as large;
  5. US enjoyed energy independence - No Green Agenda, no war on energy, No Paris Treaty;
  6. No war in Ukraine, no threat of nuclear war, NATO paid its way;
  7. China was quiet and we were winning the trade war;
  8. US companies were bringing home the jobs due to well executed tax treatments;
  9. Peace in the Middle East aka Abraham Accords; US Embassy moved to Jerusalem; and Iran was isolated.
  10. Got three non-left “I don't know what a woman is” Supreme Court Justices on the bench allowing Roe vs Wade to be overturned.

Who the heck can accomplish the above in four years while being impeached twice and investigated by Obama's Weaponized Agencies?

Trump is running in '24. Desantis will get crushed if he tries to go against Trump.

I predict that you will be voting for Trump in Nov. ‘24.

Get used to the idea.

Where else are you going to go?

Life of the mother is already protected.

The other two provisions are the products of morally bankrupt thinking.

Next.

Lol

Wrong

The 45th President is a realist.

Anti Trump ideologues like yourself have a huge Orange hurdle to overcome to deny him the 2024 nomination.

You have one guy.....DeSantis who may or may not defeat Trump in the primaries. DeSantis was an insignificant nobody until Trump endorsed him in 2018 BTW.

I follow politics & I just don’t remember House of Representative DeSantis at all, before his run for Florida Governor.

Trump always has been sort of centrist on the social issues and ok with government spending. His positives were always less regulation and pro US industry. He may just pretend but it appears he might understand the impact of government giving away to urban liberals to the folks near Lima OH a bit better than Nancy Pelosi.

If the GOP would go along with import tariffs we would have a balanced budget and a vibrant modern industrial base.

You forgot illegal immigration brought to a 30 year low with a controlled border and a compliant government in Mexico leading

It’s hard to remember all the good stuff he did.

If any group stops the current Federal spending.

You know what will happen?

Deflation that we haven’t seen since the 1920’s & 1930’s.

We’ve maintained an inflationary business cycle since the end of WW2, because people that aren’t economic nut job ideologues haven’t been allowed to implement their retarded theories.

Unfortunately in conservative economic circles we have a lot of kooks that don’t know history or reality.
