Friday, during an appearance on FNC’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy teased Congress’ immediate upcoming actions to start 2023.
First up, according to the California Republican, after electing the Speaker of the House was to repeal the 87,000 IRS agents provision passed by Congress earlier this year.
“Great question – the first thing we have to do is elect our Speaker. We can’t do anything until we elect that Speaker,” he said. “And if you watch, the White House is actually pushing back on our investigations, saying we’re not going to give you anything till you get this solved. So, we need to be able to move forward with that.”

It’s really easy to support firing 87,000 IRS agents knowing full well that it will never be considered by the Senate.

Just like the many votes on repealing Obomacare, they didn’t mean anything, until it did mean something and then what happened? You decided not to repeal it when you had the opportunity to really make it happen.
If only Milquetoast McCarthy actually had the BALLS to refuse to allocate the funds needed to hire 87,000 IRS agents in the first place, why that'd be a miracle!
Reality: The House of Representatives writes the checks. If they don't write the check, shit doesn't get funded and there's nothing the Senate or Resident Retard in the White House can do about it.
Again, too bad Milquetoast McCarthy doesn't have the BALLS to refuse to write the check. He's all mouth, no action.

Don’t cut all 87,000 IRS agents. Keep about 2,000 to conduct audits of every US Senator and Representative and their families.
We need to audit our elected leaders to ensure that they are on the square.
