Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told Russia that “no one will ever forgive you” for spreading terror following a series of missile attacks on New Year’s Eve.

Zelensky said in an address on Saturday that the missile attacks will not mark the end of the year but the outcome of Russia’s fate in that it will not be forgiven. He mentioned that Russia launched missile attacks during the war at other holidays such as Easter and Christmas.

“They call themselves Christians. They are very proud of their orthodoxy. But they are following the devil. They support him and are together with him,” he said.

World War 2 ended with the unconditional surrender of both Germany and Japan. There were no negotiations.

the man is a fool, no war ever ended without negotiation

All he’s negotiating is how many more billions of dollars he can squeeze out of us.

In the News/Activism forum, on a thread titled Zelensky addresses Russians after New Year’s Eve strikes: ‘No one will ever forgive you, elpadre wrote:

I favor neither side. On the one hand I think Putin did the wrong thing in invading Ukraine.

But on the other side I also understand the backstory. When the USSR was ended, the US (James Baker) gave them assurances that NATO would never encroach on the Russian border and NATO did encroach by admitting border countries into NATO. Then the Minsk agreements were never implemented primarily because of US and Ukraine pressure. I can understand any country wanting to protect it’s borders.

Recently Angela Merkel admitted that the Minsk agreements were simply used to buy time to build up the Ukraine for conflict with Russia. Putin remarked he was disappointed, trust was damaged, and maybe he should have invaded sooner then (if it's just a delay tactic).

That is inaccurate. Baker promised that East Germany would not move any further east. He was NOT promising anything from NATO. NATO is a defensive organization. It can get as big as it chooses to. that has nothing to do with russia.

It will be hard to get an unconditional surrender from Russia, Harder still to get one from the United States. This will be like WW I a war not of mobile armies but a war of attrition. Slow, pounding death grip, How many years can we fight? How many need die? Two million? Five Million? wait till American start to die? Happy New Year!

“Blah blah blah I’m so sick of Russia”

All of us are sick of demented Putin!
Even the Russian citizens are leaving their homes by the thousands.

“zelensky bombed russia”

Ignore Russian propaganda. The Russian citizen underground is burning their own military factories & government draft headquarters.

“My paternal ancestors fought over a dozen wars with the Russian animals. May they continue to face losses and may their supporters in the US deport themselves to Moscow. Same goes for any “American” who supports or admires China.”

Amen.

Yep, but for every Bandera there are scores of Tsars and Generals who have done far worse. No excuse for what some Ukrainians did (and indeed other Europeans did) in WWII but in 2022-2023 (and indeed for nearly 20 years) it is Russia that is at fault.

“Russia is still bombing apartment buildings,
Russia ISN’T interested in peace, only warmongering”

So, true. Even the citizens of Russia are escaping their homeland to willingly become refugees.

Are you aware Russian citizens are actually flying into Mexico to cross the border into the U.S!

“Russia is doing what it must do”

No one forced Russia to invade another nation. Especially
a nation they signed multiple international agreements to retain Ukraine existing borders.

In fact, Putin is the greatest criminal leader.
