This is just plain stupid and makes the party look ridiculous in the eyes of those that don’t understand the system of government that we embrace.

Sounds self-contradictory. Is it stupid if those that don’t understand our system are the upset ones?
They have short memories. They elected Fetterman.
On the contrary, I think it’s great!!!
It shows the deep state that we conservatives are not going to be pushed around, that we will not go quietly into the night, and we will no longer go along to get along.
Those that think otherwise are not conservative.
They are republiCAN’Ts.
And I despise bush league chamber of commerce worshipping republiCAN’Ts.

Oh, you mean the Government Class Oligarchy with pronounced fascist tendencies…that system.
Voting for Speaker IS part our Democracy.
Well, then, it is a GREAT learning experience for the entire COUNTRY!! Grow a pair!
You do realize that one of the rules that they are fighting for is to allow members to offer amendments once again. Chip Roy says this hasn't been possible since 2016. The current system is utterly broken as proven by the 1.7 trillion bill that was rammed through. McCarthy has proven he wants nothing but the status quo out of Congress.
They can spend the next two years voting for a speaker for all I care. Congress, as it currently sits, is not something that benefits the American people.

*************
Our system is broken. Its chaotic, corrupt and dysfunctional.
Just the way the elites want it.
It’s not stupid and you are the one that doesn’t understand our system of government. This disagreement is healthy. Anyone who will be speaker must gather the factions in the party to vote for him. The smaller the lead for the majority party, the harder that will be. Kevin hasn’t yet done that. Perhaps he still will. But so far he has refused to negotiate to the point of puling the coalition together. If he can’t or refuses to do that, then the rest of the party will eventually look for a unity candidate. And everyone will be better off, no matter the outcome. (And who cares if congress can’t get anything done. They’ll figure this out in a few days, and hopefully it results in more empowerment of the investigative work that’s needed to address corruption.
